Having worked as a sommelier and wine buyer for private families, and luxury hotel and restaurant groups for the past thirty plus years; I am always thrilled and amazed when I discover new bottling from anywhere new and old from around the globe, but somehow when it comes to my holiday meals I always end up wanting to drink the classic wines and Champagnes of great producers and vintages that I grew up to love in the wine industry for their structure, finesse, quality for the money and nobility. These are my favorites this year that pair well with the sweet and the savory flavors of the season lifting anyone’s spirit!
